Auntie Lynda came to town

What a surprise when Aunt Lynda called this morning to say she was on her way up from Chicago and wanted to stop by and visit for a few hours while on her way back up north near Houghton Lake.
Lynda is Dawn's aunt, who I met several years ago before we married and I really enjoyed meeting and her ice fisherman husband Monte.
Lynda has treated me so well since the beginning and I've always appreciated that and remember it from the first time we met.
so even though the visit was on a sad note -- her cousin from Chicago died -- it was good to see her and chat a bit. We don't often see her or Monte or even Grandma Jackie (adorable lady that she is).
Big hugs Lynda.
